The self-sufficient health

Man, like the earth, needs balance and biodiversity to live to the full extent of his faculties and realise the best of himself

Most forms of life on Earth are experiencing a phase of constant weakening, amongst these the human being is certainly the one suffering most, even if often not conscious of it. Western men are constantly and chronically ill, both physically and mentally, but often don’t notice it: medicines developed by pharmaceutical multinationals alleviate symptoms, reduce pain and keep sick people alive for a long time. The prestige of medicine is often based on statistics of reduced mortality and of some diseases following a country’s industrialisation, but these numbers are mainly due to the modification of habitat, dietary regime and the adoption of basic hygiene measures. Sewers, clean and sanitised water, three meals a day or washing dishes have had a much greater influence on improving health and life expectancy than the set of complex specialist treatment methods.

From earth to man, from agriculture to medicine

Thanks to scientific medicine the Western population has learnt to feel ill and to be treated in accordance with the categories in fashion in the medical environment. As for intensive agriculture and farming, preventive treatment is also envisaged for artificial man consisting of hospital birth, feeding with artificial milk and vaccinations. Following preventive treatments one moves on to fertilisation with poor quality and industrially produced food, to then intervene on the proliferation of pathogens thanks to antibiotics. Nature, however, tries to always bring the environment back to balance and so at the first signs intervention occurs with powerful medicines that destroy any form of life. If then the problem persists one can always proceed with “pruning”.

The modern scientific system is always the same. Nothing changes whether we’re talking about plants, animals or men. Natural balance is constantly broken and consequently forces us to have to use chemistry more and more, both in agriculture and in the medical field, in a vicious and diabolical circle.

Many people don’t even ask themselves why they have a certain illness: surely the doctor will have the right pill that will make the ailment disappear. Illnesses however are messengers, like the warning lights that come on in a car. We can turn them off with a pill or cover the warning light with a plaster, but we certainly won’t have solved the problem, which will very soon reappear in a more important way than before, until all the warning lights come on and probably we will no longer be able to travel.

Thanks to my parents’ foresight – who had me born at home, raised with mother’s milk and organic food, without vaccines and medicines – today I am self-sufficient as regards health.

Let’s learn not to delegate

The most important choices concerning our life and our health are constantly delegated to corporations, which have as their only aim the increase of profits. A healthy and self-sufficient man doesn’t consume. A dead man doesn’t consume. A chronically ill man is a shower of money, a faithful consumer. Health has thus become an increasingly expensive commodity. We can continue to delegate our health to large international economic groups and therefore be increasingly ill and increasingly artificial, or choose to be creators of our own life and our own world by being self-sufficient.

This is one of the main reasons that led me to found, in 2009, “Autosufficienza Farm“. Thanks to my parents’ foresight – who had me born at home, raised with mother’s milk and organic food, without vaccines and medicines – today I am self-sufficient as regards health. From time to time I happen to catch flu, a headache or some slight ailment and my first action is to ask myself, “why?” Have I eaten or drunk something I shouldn’t have? Am I too stressed or is there a thought I can’t free myself from?

Usually the answer isn’t slow to arrive and the treatment I self-prescribe is, in 90% of cases, rest. Usually my body takes one night to recover from flu or a headache. In the morning perhaps I’m still a bit weak, but I’m well and to date I have never had to take medicines or vaccines or consult doctors. My mind knows very well that it won’t receive any help from outside and sets in motion incredible self-healing mechanisms.

Clearly, if for example the headache is due to work stress, as soon as I return to being stressed the headache will also reappear, but not having external help to alleviate the symptoms the only possibility left to me to solve the problem is to rest. In this way I cannot aggravate the situation and nor can I pretend nothing’s wrong in the face of a situation that isn’t good for me.

If your vegetable garden constantly needs to be treated it means there’s a problem and you can’t pretend not to see it.

Cultivate your biodiversity to always be healthy

The same thing happens with the plants, crops and animals of Autosufficienza Farm. If an insect takes possession of our lettuces our problem doesn’t become finding the product that can kill that insect but understanding for what reason that insect has spread so much. Why aren’t there antagonists? Why is the plant weak? Perhaps there isn’t suitable soil or it’s not fertile enough? Perhaps there isn’t sufficient biodiversity?

Today many farmers, even organic ones, have installed in their brain the same programme as pharmaceutical companies. For every symptom there’s the necessary product to eliminate the symptom, so even their fields and their crops are perpetually ill and continuously need the product of the multinational of the moment. To be healthy medicine isn’t necessary, which sometimes is the main cause of illness. Stay away from doctors and medicines – unless you have an acute illness – and train your body to be self-sufficient.

Sometimes you might help it with medicinal plants that don’t have side effects, but even in that case it shouldn’t become the rule. If you continuously depend on medicinal plants it means in any case that your body is not in balance. If your vegetable garden continuously needs to be treated it means there’s a problem and you can’t pretend not to see it. Even our brain and our intestine need biodiversity. The thoughts of our mind, like the bacteria of our intestine, must be diversified so that each has its antagonist. Become self-sufficient, open your minds, leave space for biodiversity and very soon everything will return to balance.

How to keep healthy

  • Spend time in the open air in natural places.
  • Get sun.
  • Walk and do movement but not competitive. Consume vital food and water, but avoid always eating the same things.
  • Live and work in a healthy environment and don’t intoxicate ourselves with negative thoughts often induced by television or other mass disinformation media.
  • Avoid always frequenting the same people, avoid keeping the same habits, doing the same job in the same way.
