The estate

A vision that takes root

Our farm was born from a simple yet radical idea: to cultivate without consuming, to produce food that creates more life than it takes. Here, agriculture isn’t soil exploitation but a continuous relationship with the earth, water, plants, and people.

Every decision is guided by a regenerative approach: restoring the soil, increasing biodiversity, strengthening natural balances. From permaculture‑inspired design to daily practices, we work so that our fields become each year more fertile, resilient, and alive.

Gardens, edible forests, vineyards, arable crops, phytoremediation systems, and artisanal workshops aren’t separate compartments but parts of a single organism—a agricultural ecosystem that feeds the farm stay kitchen, supports the territory, and tells a different way of inhabiting the land: slower, more mindful, deeply interconnected.

Biointensive garden

Cultivating life

The biointensive garden is the beating heart of our farm: a living space tended daily, where human work interacts with natural rhythms. Here we grow vegetables, fruit trees, berries, and medicinal plants following organic principles, pushing beyond traditional standards to create fertility, biodiversity, and resilience.

Three lakes, heirloom varieties, and a complex ecosystem make this place not only productive but regenerative: each harvest arises from the balance of soil, water, plants, and people, and directly supplies the farm stay kitchen.

Food forest

Seven generations

The food forest is a space inspired by natural woods, designed to develop over time for future generations. Here biodiversity takes center stage: trees, shrubs, perennial and wild plants coexist in a system that requires very little human intervention while giving back far more than it receives.

It is a forest that nourishes slowly and respectfully, following its own rhythm. A concrete example of how nature, when listened to, knows how to care for itself and those who inhabit it.

Herbal laboratory

Transforming nature with respect

In the herbal workshop, Giulia is dedicated to processing medicinal plants and wild herbs harvested on the farm. Here, infused oils, hydrosols, mother tinctures, soaps, essential oils and dried herbs are created, the result of careful and artisanal work.

It is a space for experimentation and listening, where knowledge of plants meets the desire to create simple, natural products deeply connected to the land.

Phytoremediation

Water that returns clean

Through phytoremediation, greywater is filtered by the combined action of gravel and plant roots. This natural, silent, and effective process returns clean water to the soil without contaminating the environment. It is a concrete act of responsibility toward the earth and the future: a simple and powerful way to remind us that every daily choice can become care.

Extensive arable fields

Memory and continuity

In the extensive arable fields we grow cereals and legumes of heirloom varieties, respecting the long rhythms of the soil and seasonal cycles. Gentil Rosso, Senatore Cappelli, rye, barley, and evolving mixes tell the story of an agriculture that does not force but accompanies.

These fields safeguard seeds, knowledge, and future possibilities, keeping alive a deep relationship between nourishment, territory, and agricultural culture.

Living with life

Animals, allies of the ecosystem

At the farm, life takes many forms. Chickens, geese, donkeys, bees, dogs, and cats share this place alongside a rich biodiversity of living beings that inhabit the woods, meadows, and cultivated areas.

We do not see them as separate presences but integral parts of the ecosystem. With their natural rhythm they contribute to soil fertility, the balance of life cycles, and the health of the earth. We produce honey and eggs, but above all we nurture a relationship of respect and collaboration, where each species has a role and dignity.

It is thanks to this coexistence that the place remains alive, resilient, and constantly transforming, capable of regenerating season after season.

Vineyard

Where Sangiovese finds its home

At these altitudes they said it was impossible. Yet it is possible.
Our vineyard began as an experiment, grows year after year, and tells a story of listening, patience, and trust in the land.

The vines are rooting ever deeper, paving the way for a future wine production that will speak of this place, its climate, and its agricultural vision.
